Smiths/Morrissey Convention

So this Sunday is the annual Smiths/Morrissey convention!! This is my first time attending and I'm super excited, but I also have no idea what to expect.

For example, I have no idea what to wear, or how soon to start lining up etc. 

I was supposed to attend with a friend of mine, but we decided to kind of go as a group instead. I do have an extra ticket and have asked a couple of people already, apparently everyone's busy, but I still have a couple more people in mind so I'm not too panicked...yet.

As far as what to wear, I've seen photos of people wearing pinup, or Smiths and Morrissey shirts, or just their everyday clothes.

Truth be told, I find it kind of redundant to wear Morrissey and Smiths shirts due to my giant "Morrissey" tattoo on my arm and The Smiths lyrics on my ankle. 

It's kind of like wearing a Morrissey/Smiths shirt 24/7. 

I recently ordered the Lydia Dress in Rose Border Print from Pinup Girl Clothing, they just released the dress in new sizes (up to 4X) and I placed my order as soon as I got the email. I wasn't planning on buying anything PUG this month, but I've been lusting after this dress for a while now and didn't want to wait for it to sell out.

I also juuuust bought THESE adorable Star Wars Vans. 

They have little Yoda's on them <3

 I think they will match pretty well. So this is what I'm considering, if my Vans show up before Friday. I know my dress will, Pinup Girl's shipping is on point (not true for everyone, I happen to live just a few cities over from HQ.)

I have a pretty busy weekend: On Saturday I'm attending the Mary Blair Launch Party!

I'm mostly going to see of I can snag the Umbrella Print Jenny Skirt, and maybe even the Train Print Jenny Skirt, cause it's sold out in my usual 2X. I also want to try on the Erin Dress in Leopard Bengaline, because later that evening my friend and I are attending Hunk'o'Rama, which is male strip club. Yes, we gon' get our Magic Mike on!

So I have a super busy weekend which means I probably won't have time to do my new featurette: Sunday Spotlight, unless I write it sometime within the next two days and just publish it on Sunday.

Anyways, I'm really excited, I've had a lot of things going on lately, and Spring Break just ended (i did, literally nothing) so I'm looking forward to going out and having a good time YAY!
