Jenny!

Just wanted to shed some spotlight on a cult favorite and closet staple: The Jenny Skirt by Pin Up Couture.
Pin Up separates have become great transitional pieces for me personally. I love the flexibility of mixing and matching and the fact that separates are a little non-committal, and a lot less expensive than dresses and gowns.  The Jenny skirt is a great transitional piece for everyday wear or evenings, comes in a variety of prints and sizes...(up to 2X!) and looks great on everyone! $98.00, well worth the price for something you can wear everyday with just about anything! The skirt features gathered quality cotton sateen with a wide waistband and gorgeous skirt volume. See the Jenny skirt here in only a few of it's prints and the girls just like you who wear it best!! find all of these styles and more here at Pin Up Girl Clothing.com!!!

linderie dans la rue

I took a hint from my previous post and decided this was worth posting about...again. Rumi Neely really inspired me with her style, so much so that I put together a cute little pre-spring fashion post. It's starting to warm up here, though not enough to inspire shorts and dresses, sans tights, but I'm really obsessed with the idea of kepping it simple and comfy and still super stylish. I've never been one to be too into trends, so I'm sure your aware that this particular trend was really in maybe a year ago, but I still love it. Besides, it appears that Rumi of Fashion Toast is making it a go to staple in her wardrobe. Yes people, I'm referring to lingerie street style.  Below are some of Rumi's looks that inspired my new obsession, along with some celebrity inspiration, like Courtney Love and Kate Moss and even Clara Bow. I'm loving the look of a slip dress worn with a sweater or silky shorts and drapey tops. Very 20's flapper lingerie, meets Love grunge, meets "I just rolled out of bed and decided to wear my nightie to get coffee" kind of cool. This look is super easy to do, from boudoir lace tops, to silky shorts, to slip dress skirts, to men's pajama tops and a lacy bra peeking out. This look screams Daisy Buchanan gone bad(er). I'm personally picking up some silky items from my nearest Goodwill and any other department store. I also found some really cute and easy to-do styles from Nasty Gal and Urban Outfitters.  Enjoy. -R
