Happy Wednesday

Happy Wednesday!
Hello middle of the week. I noticed today that when I got ready for school, with the thought of an oncoming storm, that I should wear something warm. But I've never been a jeans kind of gal, and frankly, I hate wearing sweats to school. So I opted for a long sleeve, short hem vintage black velvet dress with ivory lace collar, black tights, and my "Fuck Off" smoking slippers. Without even realizing it, I was dressed like Wednesday, on a Wednesday. If I had someone to help me, I'd show my OOTD, but seeing as full length selfies and nearly impossible, I guess you'll never know. Anyways, Happy Wednesday to you! I'm thinking about making Wednesday dressing on a Wednesday a "thing". I'm happy for today, only one class, English 2 my fav, and no work. I'll be cleaning and reading and writing all afternoon. Let me know how your Wednesday is going, and share your Wednesday Addams outfits!!

Morrissey

I've probably divulged my adoration of Morrissey and The Smiths in earlier posts, but seeing as my first Morrissey concert ever is coming up, I thought I'd dedicate today's post to him and his love of naps. Enjoy!. -R

See you guys at the show!!!

Primavera!

that's Italian for Spring!

But anyways, I was walking around campus just recently and realized its almost spring! I've always been a fall/winter kinda gal, but suddenly I'm really excited for spring. It's almost nostalgic for me, this time of year always vaguely reminds me of my childhood, probably because of Easter. So in honor of spring, I thought I'd post some inspirational fashion photos, and some cool stuff for summer too (which I have always hated).
I'll post some of my favorites from the spring runway shows and some classic from my favorite online shopping sites, like Asos, Pinupgirlclothing.com, Modcloth, and Urban Outfitters!
Love the ethereal goddess vibe at Anna Sui

Dolce & Gabbana's flower appliques and floral crowns were to die for!

I loved Tory Burch's retro geometrics!

Jenny Packham rocked a cool forties look with this gown

Jenny Packham again with ideal color blocking and wispy romantic pleats

Lela Rose with soft shapes and bold hues
Loved the hair at Nonoo spring 2014

And of course, my fav!! Mui Mui rocked with signature bold and cute graphics with retro silhouettes

What did you love for Spring? Let me know in the comments!!

You gotta love Thom Browne!!

All in Vanity

I was trying to find some unique idea for make-up storage. I, unfortunately, do not have a vanity just a bathroom counter, but I recently read on the BeautyLish App that storing make-up and make-up brushes in the bathroom is very unsanitary due to the humidity. So I bought one of those big make-up storage containers or $20 at Target, the caboodles link is here. Then I put the make-up I use everyday in my cute little quilted black batman make-up bag from Forever21 and set in on my jewelry dresser, which I just grab and head to the bathroom when it's time to get ready. Ideally, I would buy a vanity, despite the fact that there is no more room in my apartment for one, and use it. I thought I'd share with you guys some great vintage vanities I found and some really fun ways to organize your make-up. Please share your ideas with me! when I had my stuff in the bathroom, I used clear plastic gelato jars to hold my brushes and mascaras.
